Chris Novic
Chief Executive Officer
Before founding Magnify Payments in 2016, Chris attended Gannon University, where he played football and graduated with a degree in Finance. Soon after college Chris began a successful and highly decorated career in the payments industry.

With the support of his wife, Kristin, and their 3 children, Chris decided that he could best serve current and future customers by forming an independent and versatile organization. As CEO, Chris is directly involved with each facet of the business and enjoys helping merchants achieve success.
Dan Defazio
Chief Operating Officer
Dan joined Magnify Payments as Chief Operating Officer in 2017, drawn by a simple but powerful belief: when agents, partners, and merchants succeed, everyone wins. With over 20 years of sales and marketing experience, he brings a problem-solver's mindset to every challenge. Whether that's streamlining operations, strengthening partner relationships, or helping a merchant find the right payment solution for their business.

Dan holds a degree in Communication from the University of Pittsburgh, where he was introduced to the game of rugby. Athletic competition helped teach him the values of trust, accountability, and showing up for your team. That same commitment defines how he leads at Magnify today. He lives in the Pittsburgh area with his wife, Erin, and their three children.
Kelly Jaime
EVP, Strategic Partnerships & Client Experience
Kelly brings more than two decades of leadership in the payments industry to his role at Magnify Payments, where he oversees strategic partnerships, agent development, and client experience nationwide.
His career includes senior roles at First Data and Cynergy Data, where he led national sales initiatives and training programs, and most recently served as Head of Corporate Sales Training at Merchant Industry. What sets Kelly apart is a perspective few payments executives carry — he is also the founder of The Sweet Shop NYC, a retail concept that generated over $15 million in revenue, giving him firsthand insight into whatmerchants face every day.

At Magnify, Kelly is focused on growing the partner network, strengthening agent support, and building programs that help clients and partners thrive long-term.
Abbi Novic
Marketing & Business Development Manager
Abbi brings over 12 years of experience in the merchant services industry to her role at Magnify Payments. She began her career as a merchant representative at First Data and PNC before joining the Magnify team, where she has grown well beyond her sales roots.
​
Today, Abbi leads marketing, SEO, and website strategy for the company while continuing to manage her own book of business and supporting broader business development efforts. It's a rare combination, and one that gives her a sharp understanding of both the merchant experience and what it takes to grow a payments business.
​
When she's not working, Abbi is out on the trails. She's on a mission to visit every national park in the US and beyond.
A note from our Founder and Chief Executive Officer...
I founded Magnify Payments in 2016 (after having spent 15+ years in the corporate payment/financial services industry) because I saw the need for an independent organization that could act decisively on behalf of its customers. Far too often I saw my customers treated unfairly and I was powerless to advocate for them.

That all changed with the establishment of Magnify Payments, where our primary concern is doing right by our customers and partners.
I truly believe that the independent model we’ve built at Magnify Payments is the best route to give our customers the service and results they deserve.
